Meet the Welcoming, Skilled and Knowledgeable Paralegals at Fraser, Wilson & Bryan, P.C.

Karen Huxen is a paralegal and the firm’s original right hand. She was born in Chicago, Illinois. She attended high school in Lawrence, Kansas, and graduated from the University of Kansas with a major in Psychology and a minor in Religion. She obtained her paralegal certification in 2000. She assists in litigation matters and handles much of the firm’s transactional work and bookkeeping. She has two sons.

Kam Jones is the second paralegal to join the firm and also has been a commissioned peace officer since 1992. She was born in Hollis, Oklahoma, and graduated from Floydada High School. She attended Texas Tech University and San Angelo State University. She graduated from the Tarleton State University police academy in 1992 and was actively involved in law enforcement for 11 years. She worked with Amy at their prior law firm for almost ten years before joining Fraser, Wilson & Bryan, P.C. in 2006. She is married and has one daughter.

Carolyn King rounds out the firm's standout paralegal team. She was born in Arkansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Rockhurst College with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies and obtained a Bachelor's of Applied Arts and Sciences in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She has been a paralegal in Stephenville for almost 30 years, working with both Kim and Amy at their prior firms. She is extremely active in the community, including previously as an American Cancer Society volunteer providing peer support for women with breast cancer. She was named 2004 Erath County Citizen of the Year, and the American Cancer Society's 2007 Volunteer of the Year.

Megan Baker is the pleasant voice serving as our firm's receptionist. A graduate of Stephenville High School and holding an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Tarleton State University, she is continuing her education towards a Master's in Counseling Psychology also at Tarleton State University.
