Karen Huxen is a paralegal and the firm's original right hand. She was born in Chicago, Illinois. She attended high school in Lawrence, Kansas and then graduated from the University of Kansas with a major in psychology and a minor in religion. She obtained her paralegal certification in 2000, and worked with Kim at their prior law firm. She assists in litigation matters and handles much of the firm's transactional work as well as the firm's bookkeeping. She has two sons.
Kam Jones is a paralegal and also has been a commissioned peace officer since 1992. She was born in Hollis, Oklahoma, and graduated from Floydada High School. She attended Texas Tech University and San Angelo State University. She graduated from the Tarleton State University police academy in 1992 and was actively involved in law enforcement for 11 years. She worked with Amy at their prior law firm for almost 10 years before joining Fraser, Wilson & Bryan, P.C. in 2006. She is married with one daughter.
Carolyn King is the firm's newest addition to a standout paralegal team. She was born in Arkansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Rockhurst College with an associate's degree in paralegal studies and obtained a Bachelor's of Applied Arts and Sciences in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She has worked as a paralegal in Stephenville for almost 30 years, working with both Kim and Amy at their prior firms. She is extremely active in the community, particularly as an American Cancer Society volunteer providing peer-to-peer support for women with breast cancer. She was named 2004 Erath County Citizen of the Year and the American Cancer Society's 2007 Volunteer of the Year.
Tammy Stanley is the cheerful and helpful voice of the firm. She was born in Abilene, Texas, and graduated from Brownwood High School. (But we still love h
er!) She also worked for law enforcement for many years and has experience as a title company escrow assistant. She is the firm's receptionist and assists with the firm's business organizations clients. She is married and has two sons.
